Geoffrey Heal is the Executive Director of CGSD and Garrett Professor of Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility at the Columbia Business School.

Nirupam Bajpai is a Senior Development Advisor at CGSD and Director of the South Asia Program.

Michelle Bologna is the Communications Coordinator for the Ethical Globalization Initiative.

John McArthur is Policy Director at the Earth Institute and is based at CGSD.

Cheryl Palm is a Senior Research Scientist at the Earth Institute's Tropical Agriculture Program, and serves as an Associate Director of CGSD.

Elliott Sclar is Director of the Center for Sustainable Urban Development, and Professor of Urban Planning and Public Affairs at Columbia University.

Lenora Suki is director of CGSD's Program on Remittances and Development.

Julie Touber is Assistant Director of the Center for Sustainable Urban Development.

Nicole Volavka is Assistant Director of the Center for Sustainable Urban Development.

Wing Thye Woo is the Director of CGSD's East Asia Program, and is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Davis.

Paulo Cunha coordinates many activities of the Earth Institute's advisory project in Sao Tome.

Joel Cohen is the Abby Rockefeller Mauzé Professor of Populations at Rockefeller University, and is the Director of Rockefeller and Columbia Universities' Laboratory of Populations.

David Downie is Director of the Global Roundtable on Climate Change and Associate Director of the Program on Climate and Society.

Macartan Humphreys is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at Columbia University, and a research scholar at CGSD.

David Jestaz is Visiting Assistant Professor of International and Public Affairs, and is affiliated with the Earth Institute's Center on Capitalism and Society (CCS).  He is resident director of the Alliance Program.

Glenn-Marie Lange is a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Economy, Environment, and Society, specializing in environment and development.

Malgosia Madajewicz is an Assistant Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Economics and the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).  She organizes the Development Seminar, which is co-sponsored by CGSD and the Economics Department.

Will Masters is Professor of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University.  He was Interim Executive Director of the Center on Globalization and Sustainable Development until August 2004, and continues to work with CGSD on a variety of projects..

Richard Nelson is the George Blumenthal Professor of International and Public Affairs, Business and Law at Columbia University.  He leads the Earth Institute's Program on Science, Technology, and Global Development.

Edmund S. Phelps is McVickar Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Economics at Columbia, and is Director of the Earth Institute's Center on Capitalism and Society.

Robert Pollack is a Professor of Biological Sciences at Columbia, and is Director of the Center for the Study of Science and Religion (CSSR) at the Earth Institute.

Peter Rosenblum is Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann and Bernstein Associate Clinical Professor in Human Rights at Columbia Law School.  He has contributed to CGSD's advisory project in Sao Tome and Principe on oil revenue management and development strategies.

Pedro Sanchez is Director of the Tropical Agriculture Program at the Earth Institute, and is also chair of the UN Task Force on Hunger for the Millennium Development Goals.

Arthur Small is an Assistant Professor in the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).

Paige West is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Barnard College and the Columbia University Anthropology department.  She organizes the Political Ecology seminar series, which is sponsored by CGSD.

Liqing Zhang is a visiting Fulbright scholar from China. He is also a professor of international finance, deputy dean of School of Finance and director of International Finance Studies at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing, China.

Joshua Graff Zivin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health.
