Description:
CIESIN is collaborating with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to assist the Department in improving its metadata documentation procedures and to develop and host a series of metadata training workshops tailored to meet the needs of the public health community. The objective is to improve the documentation and management of public health-related geospatial records to advance the efficiency of health department operations, increase access to data, and facilitate timely and well informed decision making.
