Description:
We are conducting measurements of air pollution and measure the turbidity of the atmosphere in the New York Metropolitan area to determine the heterogeneity of the light dimming effect in urban environments. Some of this measurements were done on board of hot-air balloons launched in New Jersey. Goal of the study is to understand the relative contribution of urban pollution versus far transported particulates on New York dimming.
