Description:
LDEO will have primary responsibility for coordinating technical inputs for the preparation of the technical system design and operational plan for establishing a regional tsunami end-to-end early warning system for the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia, working in collaboration with international and national institutions and experts. Specifically, LDEO will:
a) Provide technical input for the preparation of the draft technical system design for establishing a regional tsunami end-to-end early warning system in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia
b) Assist in obtaining experts’ comments on the draft technical system design
c) Review the draft technical system design
d) Assist in the preparation of the operational plan for establishing the regional tsunami early warning center
