Description:
We have just received $100k from the Ford Foundation to support the web publishing and distance learning initiatives of our Program to teach science to clergy. We will develop a web based course either in conjunction with a larger certificate program designed to teach science to clergy or as a stand alone entity. We envision providing clergy with a distance learning course which could be taken in isolation, or in conjunction with our larger program. We would also use the grant to update the CSSR website with publications relevant to the intersection of science and religion. We will do each of these with the help of EPIC, the Electronic Publishing Initiative at Columbia University.
