Project Leader:

Timothy Hall
(tmh1@columbia.edu)

Earth Institute Contact:

Locations: Indian Ocean

Description:
Tracer observations are being used in a novel way to obtain estimates of the inventory and distribution of anthropogenic carbon in the Indian Ocean. The analysis also provides new diagnostics of Indian Ocean transport. We plan to apply the technique to other ocean basins in the near future.
