Description:
The main goal of this project is to improve local people quality of life providing real economic alternatives, substituting forest management practices that are in conflict with endangered species conservation for sustainable practices and promoting non-extractive values to the parrots to prevent poaching. This plan will help to reduce the community dependence on logging activities and will bring different income sources. Some of the main alternatives proposed include women's work, children participation and ecotourism activities.
