Multimedia | Ericsson Building Connectivity in the Millennium Villages, Ghana
Nov, 12 2009
Mobile technology provided by Ericsson and Zain, telecommunications providers, has helped to improve healthcare in Ghana. As a result of mobile connectivity, doctors can respond to calls faster, collect data for immunization and birth registration more easily, and even order medicine online. The new technology has also helped facilitate critical communication when there is a shortage of healthcare providers.
